8 Software installation and testing

8.1 software interface

z connect one end of special serial line to “CONFIG”port on the panel

of IPCE, and connect the other end to the serial port of computers.

Note: For F5-2513, CONFIG port is divided to 2 RS232 interface,

CONFIG1 is to manage 1# E1 port, and CONFIG2 is to manage 2# E1

port.

z Start the Hyper-terminal

“start” menu“program”－>“appendix”Æ“Hyper Terminal”

Input the user defined name, the click
